Elvis is resting in his "Meditation Garden" in the backyard - with his mother, father, his favorite grandmother Minnie Mae... and his twin brother Jesse Garron ... that was stillborn - Elvis was born 10 minutes later...
That garden used to be his favorite place to relax, gather thoughts and get away from the rest of the world...

Elvis Presley's House
Inside of the house everything is left exactly the same as it was the day Elvis passed. The first floor only is open to public, family wanted to keep the upstairs closed for privacy reasons. House is located on Elvis Presley Boulevard in Memphis on 14 acres of land.
The picture shows living room, and his music room in the back. On the right Elvis's famous 15 foot couch.

Graceland - Memphis, TN
The second part of our trip was Memphis, TN - we went there to see Elvis Presley's house - Graceland. It was my dream since I moved to States. We got the VIP tour, and we got to see every little thing they had to display.
The mension was amazing, wasn't as big as it seems on the pictures, but it was just great to be there. Felt like Elvis' spirit was there, like he never left, unbelievable...
We saw all his cars, motorcycles, and other toys he had, his plane -Lisa Marie that he purchased for a half a million dollars. We've heard crazy stories about Elvis, his family and his life... Lisa Marie - his doughter never saw snow before, so Elvis calles his plane crew, and around 9 pm they flew to Colorado just to show his doughter snow...they got there, play with it for 15 minutes and went back home, to Memphis...

Road trip to Nashville, TN
Me and Tim went for a little weekend getaway to Nashville, TN. We packed the car and hit the road in October 06. That was one of the most amazing weekend trips we had together in a while. We got to learn a lot about the roots of country music.
We stayed downtown Nashville, a block away from the legendary Broadway Street - where 10 most popular Honky Tonk bars are located. Broadway Street is the center of entertainment in Nashville. Bars open till the morning hours, live music, beer, people wearing cowboy hats, diners, record stores, you can even get the whole cowboy wardrobe if you want, everything within 5 blocks. i have to admit that we were so excited, that we both got a pair of cowboy boots and real southern cowboy shirts - ulala ... that drain our wallets, too ...
Every hour of our trip was filled with something: we checked out The Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, RCA Studio B (where Elvis - I love him - recorded over 100 #1 hits of his career), we did not get to Grand Ole Opry- there is always next time.

I think that was my birthday, and I choose to go to the ballgame instead of dinner, is it weird? We picked up my brothers, they just arrived to Chicago (from Poland) few days before. That was their first ever baseball game. We had great time and a lot of ... rain ... before the game. Sox won that night. Fun, fun, fun ...
